Pu Erh tea derives from the Camellia sinensis variety assamica that comes from the oldest tea region in China, Yunnan province. Pu Erh teas are fully fermented and are aged for better flavor. With a complex, earthy taste and bold aroma, it may complement desserts or heavy and greasy foods, due to its fat emulsifying properties.
